YMCA Youth Leaders Program - Niagara Falls (Winter 2026)
Overview
Future leaders assemble!
The YMCA of Niagara is excited to introduce the YMCA Youth Leadership Program (YLP), a program that helps today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders.
Our 10-week program gives youth aged 13 to 15 years old a safe space to explore and develop leadership skills that will help them prepare for the new challenges that lie ahead. We have planned YLP around the principles of fun and inclusion and will have participants out of their chair and diving into core leadership skills such as working in teams, effective communication and decision making. They will be asked to look inward, challenged to take on new tasks and, in the end, think about what comes next. YLP is not just about discovering what type of leader you are now, but also about getting you started on the path to where you want to be in the future.
Please Note: YLP is a recurring, 10-week program that takes place every Monday from 6:00-8:0opm at the MacBain Community Centre in Niagara Falls. Registering once gives you access to all 10 weeks so please DO NOT register for each week separately. Simply complete your registration for the closest time slot to your first visit and we will add you to the participant list for all the remaining weeks.
