Overview

Join us to learn about the role of Organizational Mentor with the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTF) Youth Opportunities Fund!

An Organizational Mentor (OM) provides administrative support, project mentoring, and financial accountability for projects carried out by grassroots groups. To apply for a Youth Innovations or Family Innovations grant, Organizational Mentors and grassroots groups must form a partnership and sign a collaborative agreement.

Organizational Mentors play a crucial role in supporting grassroots groups by providing the necessary infrastructure, policies, and procedures. This role requires a deep commitment to support the grassroots group in delivering their project throughout the life of a Youth Innovations or Family Innovations grant.

This information session provides details about:

  • the eligibility requirements for OMs
  • the roles and responsibilities for grassroots groups and OMs who have entered into a collaborative agreement.
  • the Mentorship Tiers for OMs
  • the application steps to become an OM

This session is ideal for both grassroots groups applying for Youth Innovations or Family Innovations streams and for organizations interested in the role of Organizational Mentor.
