Yoga for Grief & Loss - January 2026 (Morning Practice)

By Hospice Fredericton

Overview

A gentle sunlit yoga practice to soften your mind, bring warmth to your heart and spirit into your soul

Join Hospice Fredericton on your mat for a Saturday morning practice to support anyone navigating grief and loss. Held at Hospice Fredericton's Centre for HOPE (621 Churchill Row, Fredericton, NB, Canada) with admission by donation.

Led by experienced instructor Erin Gibbs, this gentle, restorative practice invites you to connect with your body and breath, recognizing that grief lives not only in the mind and heart but also in the body. Through grounding breathwork, slow mindful movement, restorative poses, and optional guided meditations, you can ease the mind, open the heart, and release stored tension. Crystal singing bowls may accompany the practice, offering harmonic vibrations that support relaxation and the gentle release of emotions.

Props are provided, and no prior experience is needed—come as you are.

We will breathe together. We will restore together. We will be together—finding solace on our mats while surrounded by a caring community.
