Heritage Mississauga is the only independent city-wide organization devoted to heritage matters in Mississauga.Incorporated as a not-for-profit charity in 1960 as the Toronto Township Historical Foundation, changed later to the Mississauga Heritage Foundation, the organization has been a significant contributor to the city’s cultural development.  Established to develop and manage a Museum focused on the Bradley family of 1840, Heritage Mississauga changed its mandate in 1994 to focus its work on researching, recording and celebrating heritage city-wide.We advocate for the preservation of our city’s heritage legacy and through dedicated programming focused on oral history, record keeping, outreach and celebrations, Heritage Mississauga hopes that the preservation and promotion of our collective heritage continues to be an important component of the identity of the city.Our shared heritage is an important element in fostering and maintaining Mississauga’s sense of community, pride and history. Together with the support of community groups, corporations and individuals, Heritage Mississauga will continue to accept the challenge of promoting awareness of the community’s most precious non-renewable resource.Charitable Number: 11924 5660 RR0001
