UPEI Medical Brigades
We are a non-profit, student-led club at the University of Prince Edward Island that travels to rural communities without access to sustainable healthcare services. As volunteers we work alongside local healthcare professionals including doctors, dentists, optometrists and pharmacists. We also work with on local volunteers and community leaders to host our mobile clinics. We bring hygiene supplies and medications with us for community members. We provide education on relevant health topics to empower individuals to take hold of their health.
