The Grove

Anna Dempsey is Florida born writer and educator based in the UK. She was the runner-up for the 2024 Bridport Novel Prize and the winner of the 2019 Costa Short Story Award. She recently completed a PhD in Creative Writing and Creative Grieving at Bath Spa and Bristol University. Anna runs writing and grief workshops through her company, The Grove.
