Sling-Choker Academy

Sling-Choker Academy delivers industrial safety training and rescue services backed by 50 years of rigging heritage. Based in Sudbury and serving clients across Ontario and Canada, we offer Ontario CPO-approved Working at Heights (initial & refresher), Confined Space (entry & rescue), Forklift/EWP, Overhead Crane/Hoist, Rigging Fundamentals, WHMIS, First Aid, and custom programs. Instructors are active field pros, with hands-on, scenario-based classes. We also provide standby rescue teams, procedure development, and toolbox talks. Through our partner Highwork, we support engineered anchor points & lifeline systems (design, install, certification). Join a public class or bring us on-site—either way, we help your teams work safer, smarter, and in compliance.
