The Kamloops Exploration Group
Kamloops Exploration Group (KEG) is a registered, volunteer-run, not-for-profit society that promotes and supports the interests of responsible mining and exploration for minerals, metals and petroleum. KEG is led by an elected 9 member volunteer board.
Thanks to the profits generated from our conference and the vision and efforts of our board and membership, KEG has been able to develop a very well regarded outreach program over the past decade. We currently invest approximately $35,000 per year, along with countless volunteer hours, to deliver educational activities listed below.
Public Lecture Series, Ask-A-Geologist, School Visits, Support for School Trips, Junior Delegates Program, Senior Delegates Program, Scholarships, Educational Displays, Mining Month Activities and so much more!
