About this event

  • 1 day 14 hours

This is the 136th Annual General Meeting for the Mining Society of Nova Scotia. It is a new venue this year, at the Oak Island Resort in Nova Scotia and will be held the 5th and 6th of June, 2024.

The theme for this year's meeting is Mining in Nova Scotia: A Need for Review. We will be hearing from the major miners in the province regarding project updates, informational sessions from government and industry, and keynote speakers from other provinces to stimulate discussion regarding how Nova Scotia can integrate lessons learned in other provinces and territories here. An agenda will be provided in the coming weeks.

This is a once in a year chance to check in with your mining colleagues in Nova Scotia, hear from our industry leaders and of course have fun!

There is a golf event planned on Wednesday the 5th, and a free Oak Island Tour planned the evening of the 5th if members wish to attend. Details will be provided in the coming weeks via email and on this page.
