500 Days in the Wild a Film Screening Fundraiser in support of the Bruce Trail Conservancy!

Join us for an exciting in-person event on Sunday June 23, 2024, at 2 pm at The Bookshelf Cinema in Guelph. We are thrilled to present a screening of 500 Days in The Wild to raise funds for the Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC). This event is a fantastic opportunity to support a great cause - “Preserving a ribbon of wilderness, for everyone, forever” - while enjoying an inspiring and thought-provoking film.

500 Days in the Wild - a documentary that features the highlights and challenges of one women during six years, traversing the entire 24,000 kms of the Trans Canada Trail, from coast to coast to coast! Award-winning documentary filmmaker, photographer, writer, and multimedia artist, Dianne Whelan is the only person to complete this epic journey of discovery - hiking, biking, paddling, snowshoeing, and skiing across the country.

By attending this event, you will have the opportunity to watch this incredible film – “a love letter to Canada” as it has been called – and to also contribute to the BTC's significant work of preserving and stewarding land for future generations. The Bruce Trail Conservancy is taking important steps in recognizing the long standing and ongoing connections of Indigenous people to the Niagara Escarpment.
