About this event

A highly recommended course for first-time moms and their coaches. This full preparation class teaches expectant parents how to meet the challenges of childbirth with confidence. It covers an array of topics, including the stages and phases of labor and delivery, hospital procedures, medication options, cesarean birth and postpartum adjustment. In addition, Lamaze breathing, relaxation and comfort techniques are taught and practiced to give parents the tools to deal with the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of the labor process.

You can pick the weekend series (two classes) or the weekday series (three classes).

*Only two nursing students are permitted. Students should not register as an expecting parent. Those who do will not be permitted to attend the class.

Fee: $100 per couple (Pay at the door)

Weekend Class Schedule: Friday 7 - 9:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Registering for Friday night registers you for Saturday.

Weeknight Class Schedule: 7 - 9:30 p.m.

Signing up for the Weeknight class signs you up for the Tuesday date listed, the following Thursday and the following Tuesday.

You only need to register for the first date of the series.
