Restore

For women who have experienced losses along the path to motherhood, the weight of grief on our mind, heart, body and soul can feel heavy. Detours to dreams of a family can often leave us feeling like we are disconnected from ourselves, others and God and we can feel at a loss for how to find wholeness again.

Where do we begin to find restoration in feeling whole again? What does restoration even look like? Could it mean more than just returning to our old selves but finding joy and a new way to move forward?

Join Lori Alcorn, founder of At A Loss Infertility Supports for a morning of intention focused on supporting ourselves through losses in motherhood, as we explore our own experiences and understandings of wholeness, as well as how restoration begins and builds through our connection with God. Lori brings to you both her experience as a certified life coach and one who has journeyed through infertility, offering a meaningful time of movement towards restoring our whole health, where we will engage with our stories through reflection, journaling, and connecting with other women on this same journey, so we can feel less alone and strengthened by those around us.

Guest yoga instructor and spiritual director, Aelea Semenowich, of Wander to Wonder Soul Care, will guide us through a gentle movement and meditation prayer practice to help you reconnect and befriend the body you are in and give you the space to authentically meet God right where you are at.

At Restore, we will find moments of relief from the weight of grief, we will connect intentionally and intimately to ourselves, God and others, and we will be given the tools to explore how restoration is a gateway to joy and wholeness.
