Lori Alcorn is the woman behind At a Loss Infertility Supports. Lori's infertility journey began in 2006, and understands first hand what it feels like to have your world turned upside down by the pain of various, unexpected losses when the pregnancy plan doesn't happen the way you hoped.What started as a journey towards a bundle of joy ended up the most heartbreaking road Lori had ever walked. The one purpose, she had been certain of was crumbling.  All the test results were negative, as were the results within her life. She was losing her joy, her sense of meaning, and worst of all, herself.After nearly 5 years of this,  Lori was tired of being stuck in the waiting room. Faced with early pregnancy loss, identity loss, and almost losing all hope, she decided she was done with her whole life being stuck on pause.  Lori started a journey to re-discover her dreams, a journey to becoming positive, even when all the results are negative.​This search for purpose took Lori on a path that led her here, helping people find holistic healing from the detours to family dreams. Now she wouldn't change a second of her joy journey!

For women who have experienced losses along the path to motherhood, the weight of grief on our mind, heart, body and soul can feel heavy. Detours to dreams of a family can often leave us feeling like we are disconnected from ourselves, others and God and we can feel at a loss for how to find wholeness again. Where do we begin to find restoration in feeling whole again? What does restoration even look like? Could it mean more than just returning to our old selves but finding joy and a new way to move forward? Join Lori Alcorn, founder of <a href="https://www.atalossinfertility.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">At A Loss Infertility Supports</a> for a morning of intention focused on supporting ourselves through losses in motherhood, as we explore our own experiences and understandings of wholeness, as well as how restoration begins and builds through our connection with God. Lori brings to you both her experience as a certified life coach and one who has journeyed through infertility, offering a meaningful time of movement towards restoring our whole health, where we will engage with our stories through reflection, journaling, and connecting with other women on this same journey, so we can feel less alone and strengthened by those around us. Guest yoga instructor and spiritual director, Aelea Semenowich, of <a href="https://wandertowonder.ca" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Wander to Wonder Soul Care</a>, will guide us through a gentle movement and meditation prayer practice to help you reconnect and befriend the body you are in and give you the space to authentically meet God right where you are at. At Restore, we will find moments of relief from the weight of grief, we will connect intentionally and intimately to ourselves, God and others, and we will be given the tools to explore how restoration is a gateway to joy and wholeness.
