From June 20-22, THYT will present our 5th Annual One-Act Festival, which is written, directed, performed, designed, and stage managed by participants ages 9-17. Beginning in February 2024, participants have been working hard to bring 6-brand new plays to the Main Stage of the Red Deer Memorial Centre. Doors open 30-min prior to the show beginning.

Tree House Youth Theatre, established in 1988, is a youth theatre company in Red Deer, Alberta. Our mission is to provide our participants, ages 9-17, with opportunities to learn the industry standards in performance, stage management, and design. We achieve this through our process driven program, with productions taking place in December and June of each season. Each season we bring in industry professionals from around Alberta to mentor our participants.
