About this event

The Southern and Northern Alberta RIMS Chapters, in combination with our event sponsor NFP, present the first annual Alberta Captive Conference! The inaugural theme, Unlocking Alberta’s Captive Landscape, will focus on the regulatory framework implemented in July of 2022, enabling the formation of captive insurance companies in Alberta. With a day full of educational sessions, you will hear from industry experts on topics including: the legislation itself and how to set up a captive here in Alberta, the services crucial to a captive, and from industry peers who have gone through the process of setting up an Alberta captive.

In addition to the numerous sessions, this event will provide networking opportunities with your industry colleagues, and the option to obtain accreditation hours for those with a General Insurance (P&C) license.

Ticket prices: $150 for RIMS members, $190 for non-members, and $50 for students. The day will include a continental breakfast, a coffee break, and lunch. Dress code is business professional.
