This Spaghetti dinner fundraiser will help support the Grand River Water Walk, September 15-21, 2024 (for the waters behind the dams). Our goal is to raise $3000.00.The dinner will have gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian options to meet varied needs and preferences.

Core Walkers and helpers will be available to share stories, experiences and songs walking for Nibi. Mary Anne Caibaiosai will share why we are walking for the waters behind the dams.

Grand RIver Water Walk

This Spaghetti dinner fundraiser will help support the work of the core walkers who will walk the full length of the Grand River, September 15-21, 2024. We are raising funds for food, accommodations, gas and incidentals for the core walkers and ceremonial medicine for the week long ceremony. The dinner will have gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian options to meet varied needs and preferences.

Mary Anne Caibaoisai, Ojibway Anishinaabe kwe and lead for this walk, will offer some words about this next 4 years of waterwalk ceremony for the Grand River and the water behind the dams. There will also be drumming and singing in celebration Nibi and the upcoming walk. PLEASE BRING YOUR $ DONATION AND OFFER AT THE DOOR. G'CHI MIIGWECH!
