Founder of the band Night Ark, Dinkjian is considered one of the top oud players in the world. His compositions have been recorded in thirteen different languages, which include the multi-platinum hit “Dinata” which was performed in the closing ceremonies of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

Beyond his musical skills, Ara has amassed a large collection of early Armenian recordings. He will share them with us during the evening as well as tell us about the singers and the history of how these early Armenian recording came to be. At the end of the evening, Ara will mesmerize us with his oud playing.
