Actors East are pleased to present an evening of two plays written by Alexander Gallimore.

Alexander is a Jamaican-Canadian writer and performer, whose expressionistic writing is tied to his identity and relationship to immigration, religion, sex and gender. His work was spotted at the Debut Festival at East 15 Acting School, where he is graduating from Uri Roodner’s acclaimed Contemporary Theatre course.

ANAMORPHIA is directed by Meeri Aro, a Finnish emerging stage director with a background in dance theatre and abstract storytelling. She is also a new graduate of the Contemporary Theatre course.

The Angel Riots,bloody and out of love is directed by Christopher Brett Bailey. His critically acclaimed stage show THIS IS HOW WE DIE received the Arches Brick Award, an Off West End Award, and was shortlisted for Stückemarkt, Berliner Festpiele.“Achingly hip and frighteningly savage” - The Guardian
