Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) has emerged as a versatile technique with applications spanning various scientific domains, including the nanostructure of polymers, bio/pharma research and battery development. This lecture aims at giving a general introduction to the foundations of small-angle X-ray scattering and some general applications of SAXS in the field of modern nanotechnology with examples from polymer research, electrochemical systems, and more.

Meet our guest speaker:

Dr. Andreas Keilbach obtained his PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Munich, with a focus in porous materials. After his PhD studies, he joined Anton Paar in April 2011 and is currently part product manager for small-angle X-ray scattering at Anton Paar GmbH.
