The British Columbia Student Film Festival is an event organized by film and media teachers around the province to recognize the exceptional student filmmakers and directors in BC. The BCSFF is a celebration of growing talent and is open to students in British Columbia between grades 8-12.

Tickets to this event are FREE but require you to reserve your seat as capacity is limited!

Note: BCSFF Workshop attendees and teachers/chaperones are automatically RSVP'd to the Awards Gala and DO NOT need to reserve a seat. Parents, guardians, family, friends etc. must reserve a seat.

I attended this year's BCSFF Workshops. Do I need to reserve a seat for the Awards Gala?

No, you are automatically registered for a seat if you attended the workshops.

If I was nominated for an award but didn't attend the workshops, do I need to reserve a seat?

Yes, if you did not attend the workshops you must reserve a seat for yourself and any guests. Tickets are free.

Will tickets be available at the door?

We cannot guarantee that there will be tickets/seats available on the day of the event. To ensure you get a seat, reserve a ticket on Eventbrite. If you later find out that you can't make it, you can always cancel your ticket to free up a space for someone else.

I reserved a seat but now I can't attend. What should I do?

If you have reserved seats but can't attend, please cancel your tickets through Eventbrite. This will ensure that someone else can attend the show.
