Trying to navigate your breast cancer experience but leaving appointments with unanswered questions? It can be really tough to advocate for yourself and your needs as a patient, especially in the presence of trained medical professionals. That’s why we’re hosting a session specifically designed to help you feel more empowered and informed when you go to your appointments.
During this one-hour session, mentors and facilitators who have had experience with what you’re facing, will lead a virtual community circle – an open discussion giving participants like you a gentle environment to ask questions and talk through some hard things.
Questions about things like:
- Communicating effectively with your care team
- Feeling prepared and confident at your appointments
- Being your own best advocate
- Navigating making make big decisions in your care
