Birding for Beginners- Thompson Marsh Park

We will gather on Lequime Road, on the south side of the park next to the City of Kelowna's tree nursery. Look for our canopy!

Come join us for a fun and educational birding event at Thompson Marsh Park! This event is perfect for those just starting out or wanting to learn how to get into birding.


Learn how to identify different bird species, their behaviors, and the best practices for birdwatching. Our experienced guides will lead you through the park, pointing out various birds along the way. Don't forget to bring your binoculars and camera to capture the beauty of BX Creek's feathered residents. See you there!


**IMPORTANT: While we're big fans of dogs, please leave Fido at home. Dogs will not be allowed at this event.

**Wear closed toe shoes, bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and dress for the weather as this event will run rain or shine. Bring a bird guide and binoculars if you have them.
