Become an expert in the art of storytelling. Led by Melanie Ng, journalist and communications specialist, learn public speaking tips and techniques to connect with your audience, whether it's a future employer or a packed boardroom.


In this workshop, you will learn how to:

· Identify qualities of a great public speaker

· Understand your audience and create an engaging presentation

· Apply a variety of storytelling techniques that connect with others


This is the first of four workshops of the Communication Skills for Career Success series.

About the Facilitator

Former Breakfast Television anchor Melanie Ng is a veteran award-winning national journalist and producer. A recognized community leader and volunteer, this award-nominated podcaster has spent 15 years at Citytv and numerous Ontario TV and radio stations, covering red carpet events to moderating political debates. Honoured by RTDNA Canada in 2021 for her news feature on a former residential school, this ex-public relations expert and Wilfrid Laurier University honours graduate lives in Toronto.
