Celebrating the Impact of Coaching in our Communities


Facilitator: Marina Jeffery

Event description: This event will recognize our ICF Prairie Chapter members who have served in past years as pro bono coaches of local non-profit community leaders through our chapter's Community Support Program.

We will share testimonials about the value coaches and clients found in the program and host some interactive dialogue on the impact of coaching work to your practice and to our communities.

Facilitator’s Bio:

Marina Jeffery is a Regina-based consultant, learning facilitator, and career and leadership coach in her own practice Pursuit Learning and Consulting based in Regina. She has worked in human resources in instruction, consulting, program or team manager roles since 1992 and as an independent change management consultant and coach since 2008.


She assists in the development of her clients’ leadership teams through group or individual coaching, consulting and facilitation. In pursuit of creating lasting change through learning and to better understand and cope with health challenges in her circle, Marina has turned her focus to leverage her learning about positive psychology, brain health, habit development and the impacts of dementia on caregivers.


Marina has a B.A. from University of Saskatchewan, a B.Ed. from U of R, and several certifications, such as:

  • Certified Life Skills Coach, Vocational (Career) Coach
  • Associate Certified Coach, International Coach Federation, 2014 - present
  • Various personality, work style and team assessments: e.g., Myers-Briggs Type Inventory, Human Synergistics assessments, Strong Interest Inventory, Career Interest Profiler and others.
  • Appreciative Inquiry and Prosci Change Management methodologies

She has designed and delivered many career, personal, team and leadership development programs, and especially enjoys coaching work with people leading change or those who find themselves at a crossroad in their career.
