Community Connections Mentorship & English Conversations
Overview
Our community connections activities are designed to foster social cohesion, building bridges between long-standing Canadians and newcomers. Mentorship offers newcomers valuable guidance on career navigation, professional development, and integration into Canadian society; an opportunity to learn directly from experienced volunteers. English Conversation Circles (ECC) and cultural activities help improve communication skills while exploring Canadian culture, traditions, and everyday life in a supportive setting. Eligible participants include convention refugees, permanent residents, and newcomers on a permanent residency pathway (e.g., live-in caregivers, PNP applicants, or dependents of PR spouses). Together, these programs provide a welcoming space for learning, connection, and growth.
