Join Worm Wrangler to learn about composting with help from earth worms! This is a group program and each registration can accommodate up to 5 participants from a family or group. Each group will take home their own at home composter!

During this interactive session, the worm wrangler, AKA Amanda Hunter will introduce you to the 'how' and 'why' of vermicomposting - a natural, sustainable method of transforming organic waste into a nutrient-rich soil conditioner. Each family or group will leave this workshop with their own vermicompost bin, red wiggler worms and the know-how to keep your worms happy and productive. Together, we'll set up your worm composting bin; talk about how and when to feed your worms; and how to harvest and use your finished vermicompost in your home or garden.

We'll also delve into the environmental benefits of vermicomposting, including waste reduction, soil enrichment, and fun. This is a great family-friendly hobby, and children are invited to participate in this hands-on workshop!

All materials are included. You will take home the following:

-A worm composting bin

-Bedding

-Red wiggler worms to get you started!
