Connecting the Church: What do Relationships look like in Flourishing Diaspora Congregations?

Description

We have common agreement that fruitful relationships are a fundamental aspect of effective ministry. Such connections don't happen by themselves. Using data from Tyndale Intercultural Ministry (TIM) Centre case studies on flourishing diaspora congregations this webinar will explore what connectedness looks like. Following a general discussion of connectedness in these congregations it will explore connections with family, with friends, with pastoral leaders, and with God. It ends with a brief discussion of some of the challenges that impede this connectedness.

These explorations will be opportunities for participants to learn from each other about what these connections looking like in each other’s contexts, particularly in the context of their own experience practicing hospitality and welcoming newcomers.
