Craft Cellars presents Ken Forrester Winery with Ken Forrester

We are incredibly honoured to host 2018 American Fine Wine Competition Winemaker of the Year Robert Rex from one of our favourite wineries, Deerfield Ranch, in Sonoma, California on Friday, April 20th at 1:00pm. As absolute wine geeks, we fell in love with his Deerfield Red Rex when we first opened. Those that have stopped in for a bottle of rich, full bodied red are almost always directed towards this wine at some point, because every staff member here loves it! That’s difficult to accomplish! However, Robert has a few wines in his repertoire that will just blow you away. Renowned for being rich, flavourful and full bodied, Deerfield’s wines are very fruit driven and expressive, with incredible complexity that is difficult to put into words. Since entering wines into competition in 1996, Deerfield has won 347 awards and counting, cementing themselves with an impeccable reputation of producing world class wines. We will be tasting through Robert’s wines including, the rare and unbelievable 2005 DRX; a 5 grape Bordeaux style blend that is the pinnacle and flagship of Deerfield Ranch Winery. A truly incredible expression of what this winery excels at. These wines are to die for; so flavourful and full bodied. You can only imagine the passion that shines through in this stellar offering of exceptional wines. When staff are clamouring to buy tickets ahead of the event, you know it’s something very special!
