Who can attend?

Anyone who is impacted by alopecia whether personally or through a loved one, is welcome to attend.  This includes individuals experiencing hair loss due to various forms of alopecia, as well as friends, family members, and supporters seeking to learn more and offer support.

Will medical advice be provided?

This is a peer support gathering. We don't provide medical advice or claim expertise. Our focus is on support and empathy. While members may share experiences, we don't promote or request treatment advice.

What can I expect?

This is a relaxed atmosphere.  Expect to share coping strategies, connect with others, and even find moments of  laughter.

How often does the Alopecia Support Meet-Up occur?

Accepted Answer

The frequency of the meet-ups may vary depending on demand and availability of organizers and participants.  Typically, we aim to host regular meet-ups the Third Thursday of each month, 7pm EST.

Can I submit questions in advance?

Of course!  Email questions to: yourbaldbestie@gmail.com.  We will not share any names, we will just read the questions out loud and the group can provide feedback.

Information shared here remains confidential. We honor privacy by refraining from sharing personal details beyond this group. No recordings or photos allowed and the session link must not be shared publicly.
