What is Hot Mom Walk?

Did you know new moms can typically experience the feeling of isolation and a huge identity shift when they go on maternity leave? A recent study found 80 percent of women at three months postpartum say they feel more alone than ever.

Designed to help mitigate feeling isolated and alone, Hot Mom aims to help moms build community, decompress, and socialize while participating in one of the most accessible activities - walking.

In collaboration with West Coast Kids, CYBEX will host free Hot Mom Walks on a weekly basis from the month of April to October (excluding July, August for Summer Break). This will provide a hub for new moms to meet will participating in wellness walks led by our HMW leaders Alex Trimble (@alex_trimble), Chloe Alleyne (@thesweatmovement), and Teja Federico (@thebarreteja)

Monthly Giveaway Prize

Those who sign-up and attend a Hot Mom Walk will have the chance to WIN a CYBEX stroller of their choosing! Winners will be annouced at the end of each month. Giveaway contest rules are in the Q&A section below.

Meet your Hot Mom Walk Leader

Teja Federico is the founder and creator of the profound Barre Fitness + Wellness App, Barre Teja, and is an expert if helping women fall in love with their fitness journey. With a background in athletics, former Team Canada national power tumbler and NCAA D1 colligate softball player, she transitioned her conditioning + training knowledge and experiences, into creating a method of low impact workouts that work to build strength, while being good for your body, BUT most importantly, can accessible can everywhere, As a mom of two, SHE GETS IT, which is why she created a space and way for busy moms to keep up with the craziness of life, without forgetting about prioritizing moments for you, to move your body daily, even if it is just 10 minutes, with a baby crawling all over you. She wants to help you build a lifestyle, one that is realistic, without the all or nothing, and is dedicated to helping women + moms feel the strongest and most confident in their own skin! Your most important and only goal, is to feel good! Come move!
