About this event

  • 3 days 7 hours

Credit Valley Conservation's Conservation Youth Corps (CYC) program provides a fun five-day outdoor environmental program for teens. Participants tackle environmental stewardship projects at different sites in their community, our conservation areas, and across the watershed.

Volunteers are supervised and mentored by CVC staff during planned activities. Each day brings a new experience: Electrofishing, taking care of past CVC plantings, planting trees/wildflowers, and stream restoration are all examples of projects you might get to work on!

Each Monday begins with an orientation where you will learn about different watershed species, risks and safety, and what you'll need to be successful for the rest of the week!

At the end of the summer, we will send out an e-mail verifying your volunteer contributions.

We're so excited to jump into a great summer of CYC stewardship with you!
