Demystifying Fats

Develop an understanding of the many types of dietary fats and how to adjust your intake to include “heart healthy” fat options more often. Information will be provided on nutrition approaches that support metabolic health such as the Mediterranean and Portfolio diets. Participation encouraged for people living with high cholesterol levels, diabetes, fatty liver, heart disease or for those who are just interested in this topic.

The sessions will be held at the Comox Valley Division of Family Practice Office at St Joe's Campus at 2137 Comox Avenue #Unit Number 1324 in Comox. Please go to the main entrance (near the coffee kiosk) and look for the signs to help you find your way.
