Meet and Greet from 8 pm to 9 pm with performance at 9 pm. BuenRostro commences its gestation at the very southside of Mexico City, in the so-called urban county of Milpa Alta (Tall Maize Field) ... It grows surrounded by the elders who still practice deeply rooted customs and traditions, and with the sound of their voices speaking their native tongue Nahuatl. These strong native roots converge really closely with the cosmopolitan city, leading Buenrostro to live, learn, experience and experiment with different sounds resulting in the creation of their unique tunes embracing traditional Mexican and international rhythms (son, jarabe, pirekuas, cumbia, samba, rock, jazz, and many more).
