The 13th annual Detroit River Evening will be hosted in person on June 19 2024 in the evening at the Ojibway Nature Centre located at 5200 Matchett Rd, Windsor, ON N9C 4E8. Parking is available onsite. Guests will hear updates on the Remedial Action Plan, our updated work plan to meet those goals and preview the 2023/24 annual report. The event is free, light refreshments and snacks will be served and registration is required due to limited seating.

The agenda for the evening is currently being finalized. Thank you to our guest speakers, as well as provincial and federal partners for helping to celebrate another year of environmental progress in the Canadian Detroit River Area of Concern!

Do I have to bring a ticket to the event?

No - we'll have a registration list in the lobby to check you in when you arrive!

What if I reserve tickets but end up not being able to attend?

If your plans change and you're unable to attend, please let us know by emailing or calling as soon as possible so that we can offer the tickets to others. THIS IS A SOLD OUT EVENT EVERY YEAR - but, unfortunately, seats go empty because of 'no shows'. Please be considerate of those on the wait list

The Detroit River Canadian Cleanup (DRCC) is a community-based partnership initiated in 1998 to cleanup, enhance, restore and sustain the Detroit River ecosystem. Partnerships within the DRCC aim to promote and implement the Remedial Action Plan to restore the Detroit River's beneficial uses with the ultimate goal of removing the Detroit River from the list of Great Lakes Areas of Concern.
