Please wear closed toed shoes while in the studio. Glass is very sharp and we don't want any accidents! Other safety equipment like safety goggles and gloves will be provided. A hair tie is also a good idea for long hair.

How long will my project take?

Generally projects take around 2 hours

Do I get to take my work home?

Yes! Your finished project belongs to you, and you're welcome to display your work at home.

Is it safe?

Yes - we are a professionally equipped stained glass studio and will provide all the necessary safety equipment. All chemicals will be used with caution and under careful supervision. That being said, we do require you to wear closed toed shoes while in the studio, so please come in proper footwear

Who is my instructor?

Kat Medlyn, owner of Medlyn Studio, will be your instructor, so you can take comfort that you are learning from the very best! Kat has been a stained glass artist for almost 30 years, and has taught stained glass artistry at Fanshawe college and other institutions.
