As a hometown special, admission to the Dakota Tavern show includes a CD copy of Electric Minds.

About the artist

Since he was a child, Eddy Currents displayed a natural inclination towards music. Playing instruments from an early age, this quickly evolved into the love of penning a new melody or lyric at any given moment. After years of honing his craft and a decade spent working on the road, Eddy Currents was poised to share his colourful tales and musicality with the world. This journey culminated in the release of his self-titled debut album in 2020, a fusion of folk, rock, Celtic, and synth-pop influences, where the only constant in the arrangement is the plangent, lead baritone vocal that narrates these distinctly human accounts.

2021 saw the release of two singles,Crossroad andThe Breakline, both of which continued to build upon the singer-songwriter styling introduced on the debut album and gained him considerable momentum on various Indie Folk playlists. In 2023, Eddy Currents was streamed in 140 countries on Spotify alone, assisted by the release of the first six tracks off of his latest album, Electric Minds. His energetic solo live sets have been engaging audiences all over North America, with new dates being consistently added to his Electric Minds tour.
