About this event

  • 5 hours

Enjoy a morning of yoga and nature, followed by a delicious plant based lunch to nourish your body, using the ingredients right from the land. They are known for their big, juicy Okanagan peaches, and Crosby Organics is also passionate about growing their own food. What lights up Lindsey the most, is sharing the practice of yoga, and food with others in the community.

"Embodying Bliss" is a deep dive into your authentic self. Tara will guide you through breathwork, journaling, meditation, visualization and a strong, yet slow and aligned vinyasa practice. The series is intentionally sequenced to ultimately bring your body, mind and energy into a state of harmony and bliss. All levels are welcomed and encouraged!

Following lunch, you will be guided back to your mat for a blissful restorative yoga practice, led by Lindsey, with hands on adjustments and gentle massage. This practice is designed to aid in digestion, but also provide a very slow release of any residual tension left in the body, leaving you glowing and completely at ease!

Frequently asked questions

Can I come if I've never done yoga before?

Absolutely! We'd love to have you! We believe yoga is for everyone and every body. We provide many options during the physical "Asana" practices, so all can participate.

What do I need to bring?

If you have a mat, please bring it, although we do have extras. Dress in comfy clothes, and bring layers and a water bottle. Also, a pillow and blanket for the restorative portion of the practice if you have it, would elevate the experience even more.

What will the food be?

Lindsey will prepare a vegetarian (plant-based) meal, with vegan options available. It will be gluten free, with the exception of sourdough baked goodies. She can easily accommodate most dietary restrictions and needs.

Can I come if I'm pregnant?

Absolutely! We would love to have you, and can prepare yoga modifications for you.

Will there be parking?

Yes! Please park alongside the fence on the road, or in either driveway! Plenty of parking.

Will there be washrooms and water / drinks available?

Yes! There is a bathroom steps away, with potable water close by. Teas will also be provided throughout the day.

Will there be shade and / or rain cover?

Yes! If the weather looks to be hot or rainy, a large white event tent (shown in pictures above) will be up on site.
