About this event

Join us for a special hands-on workshop hosted by Fay, where you'll dive into the art of crafting your own candle and room spray made from clean, sustainable ingredients. In celebration of Muslim women in sports, each candle will be completed with a personalized label that reflects your unique journey in sports and self-empowerment. Experience the joy of scent creation as you blend fragrances and pour candles and room sprays that not only enhance your space but also resonate with your personal journey. Under Fay's guidance, you'll explore the beauty of sustainability, self-expression, and scent craftsmanship. This workshop offers a supportive environment to unleash your creativity and celebrate your achievements. Join us for an experience of crafting and reflection.

Fay Glass-Smith is the owner and operator of Scents by Fay. After working as a dental hygienist for over a decade, Fay knew she wanted to embark on an entrepreneurial journey in artistry. It all began in 2021 during the pandemic when she decided to turn my hobby into a business. Combining her passion for candle making with her ove for crafting from scratch, Scents by Fay was born. She creates a unique, one-of-a-kind, and novelty pieces brought to life by Earth's natural elements.
