(Session one of a two part series, participants can attend one session or both)

African leaders and activists from the Mandela Washington Fellowship https://yali.state.gov/mwf/ discuss various social justice issues and actions as related to their particular country on the continent of Africa.

Topics include the following:

Zimbabwe: Anti-trafficking

Nigeria: Girls and Inclusive-Education, dis “Ability” and Inclusion

Uganda: The Environment

Nigeria: Youth, Social Media, Voting, and Democracy

Presenter: Nkechinyere Melva Uguru will address Girls/Education/Inclusion in Nigeria and Dis-ability and Inclusion in Sub-Saharan Africa/Nigeria.

Presenter: Ojooluwa Ibiloye will discuss Youth, Social Media, Voting, and Democracy in Nigeria.

Presenter: Owiny Hakim will address The Environment: Perspectives and Actions from Uganda and Globally.

Presenter: Author Tanaka Muparadzi will discuss Anti-Trafficking in Zimbabwe.
