Take a trip to the Philippines during this 3-course wine pairing dinner prepared by Jo Barnes of The Renaissance Farm in beautiful Prince Edward County. Learn about the history and culture of this flavourful cuisine and hear tales of Jo’s Filipino heritage.

Filipino cuisine is indicative of the many historic influences (Chinese, American, Spanish, Japanese) that are intricately woven in the Philippines' history. Its cuisine is a celebration of different cultures and flavours -- its flexibility is the very essence of Jo's culinary flare. Jo is very proud of her background and is always finding ways to share her love of Filipino food. Her style of cooking stems from the very joy of it.

You will experience Jo's dishes that are inspired by her Filipino heritage and savour wine pairings with each course curated by Angie Jewell and MJ Macdonald, The Cellar Sisters, co-owners, Decanter PEC.

This is a 19+ event and space is limited. Soft drinks will also be available.

Mixed salad with spicy longanisa bits served with lumpia
