Join Chris Thompson as he guides you through the entire lineup of Forty Creek whiskies. Through this experience, you can Find Your Forty as you align your palate and preference by classifying each whisky into one of three flavor profiles: Forty Bold, Forty Sweet and Forty Smooth.

- FORTY CREEK - HONEY SPICED
This spicy but subtly-sweet flavoured whisky is a true delight; a complex blend that's easy to drink in your favourite whisky cocktails. An extraordinary blend of Forty Creek Canadian whisky infused with the flavour of honey and a selection of spices.
- FORTY CREEK - BARREL SELECT
Forty Creek Barrel Select won Gold in the Canadian Whisky Awards 2024. A blend of various grain whiskies aged in a mix of seasoned ex-bourbon barrels and new American white oak for a unique and full flavour profile. Features aromas of honey, vanilla and apricot fused with toasted oak, black walnut, and spice. Robust, complex, rich, and bold flavours of vanilla, honey, and cocoa with a toasted earthiness. Completed with a smooth, lingering, and memorable finish.
- FORTY CREEK - CONFEDERATION OAK RESERVE
Gold, San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2022. A celebration of both Canada's 1867 Confederation, and Canadian ingenuity. This whisky is finished for up to 2 years in new Canadian oak barrels, which have a tighter grain due to Canada's colder climate, and impart a truly Canadian flavour profile.
- FORTY CREEK - DOUBLE BARREL
Gold, San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2022. An extra-aged whisky that is a true celebration of the intricate and subtle flavours imparted by barrel aging. The individual rye, barley and corn whiskies are extra-aged in a variety of barrels before being masterfully blended. The resulting liquid then goes through up to 2 years of secondary aging in once-used bourbon barrels.
- FORTY CREEK - COPPER BOLD
92 Points, Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2021: "Sweet nose of hard butterscotch candy, baked peach, lacy vanilla, and warm earth. In the mouth the whisky feels round and generous bringing more refined oak flavors and showing a gently emerging toasted spice note."

Falling in love with whisky at first sip, Forty Creek’s North American Brand Ambassador Chris Thompson aspires to share the Forty Creek story (and great whisky!) with passionate fans everywhere.
Inspired by his first sip of Forty Creek, Chris left a successful career in the wine industry to plunge full time into his favourite spirit. Working along side Forty Creek Master Blender Bill Ashburn and Founder John Hall, Chris began his Forty Creek journey by doing hundreds of tours and countless tasting events at Forty Creek’s Brand House where he became an indispensable ambassador and popular conduit between whisky fans and their whisky. His lively and engaging style has made him a highly sought after speaker at whisky and trade events across the continent.

Tickets are refundable when the refund is requested up to 7 days before the event, via Eventbrite. Note Eventbrite fees are non-refundable. Within 7 days of the event, tickets are non-refundable. In all cases, tickets are not transferable.
Tickets may be purchased as gifts. Kindly indicate the name of the recipient on the ticket.
Some events are more popular than others. We will sometimes put a limit on how many tickets each person can purchase to ensure we can accommodate as many guests interested as possible.
Your ticket includes the tasting product/s and a food pairing. Sample sizes for each product are as follows: Spirits & Liqueurs: 20 ml , Wines: 45ml , Beer, Cooler & Cider: 60ml.
Arrive well-rested and hydrated as alcohol affects your physical and mental state. For the enjoyment of all guests, we kindly request no wearing of fragrance or cologne, and all mobile devices silenced or turned off.

Minors won't be able to attend the event, since it's +19 only. IDs will be required.
39th & Cambie BCL events can accommodate up to 24 guests while the Park Royal BCL events can accommodate up to 12 guests maximum.
The 39th & Cambie BCL has parking lots on either side of the store. There is no fee to park. Guests are allowed to park for the entire duration of the event. The Park Royal BCL is situated in the mall with parking spaces in front of the store. Parking fees and duration are subject to mall policies.
Seating is accommodated on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive early to ensure you get good seats and side by side, if coming as a group.
Overconsumption is not considered an excuse for any inappropriate/ irresponsible behaviour. Kindly monitor your intake, and if you know you have a lower level of tolerance, spittoons will be available for use. Please do not drive intoxicated. We will hand out transit tickets to get home safely.
This is a rare case. Nevertheless, if this happens, we will notify you in advance and refund you the tickets in the original method of payment.
Yes, in most cases, products are available to purchase at the store after the event. In particular situations, the tasting is a preview from products that will soon be launched. We recommend to check our website for information about the products that will be poured.
