Starting June 4th, this webinar series aims to build capacity around clean power information and project readiness within BC, tailored to the specific needs and interests of participating First Nations. Attending all sessions is highly recommended as they offer cumulative benefits, enhancing your knowledge and readiness in this critical field.

  • Session 1: Project Assessment and Team Building - Tuesday, June 4th, 2024
  • Session 2: Project Partnering and Negotiations - Tuesday, June 18th, 2024
  • Session 3: Community Benefit Realization (Equity & Non-Equity Options) - Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024
  • Optional Q&A Session - Date TBC by participants


Key Details:

  • Duration: Each webinar will be 1 hour and 30 minutes, featuring focused panels and presentations with substantial participant interaction.
  • Speakers: Sessions will feature Elders and keynote speakers from BC First Nations, along with technical experts from other regions or non-Indigenous backgrounds.

  • Registration is required for each participant, confirming their affiliation with a BC First Nation.
  • This series is not connected to the Call for Power and will not offer specific advice for applications.


Registration Information:

  • Eligibility: Must be a member/staff of a BC First Nation.
  • Cost: Free for all BC First Nations.
  • Register in advance to secure your spot and to contribute to the shaping of the optional Q&A session.
