First Responders will walk the catwalk and model in a one-of-a kind event to raise funds for PTSD therapies and research for our Front Line workers.
The recent events of two fallen Edmonton Police Officers, have highlighted the traumatic events on not only the officers involved, but the fringe first responders called to assist. Such as, the EMS members first on scene desperately trying to save the officer's life and the doctors' and nurses' who were doing the same at the hospital. These extremely traumatic events ca result in PTSD making PTSD therapy, research and recovery vital.
We want to continue to bring awareness to PTSD and Mental Illness for our First Responders and Front Line workers, especially after the rise in mental health trauma, suicide and PTSD during the unprecedented last few years. This is why we are continuing to support HiMARC (Hero's in Mind and Research Consortium) and their PTSD research through the University of Alberta's Faculty of Rehabilitation with all the funds raised from our event.
We will be gathering in person to support our First Responders by dressing to impress in our WHITE PARTY. The show will occur on September 21, 2024, 6 pm at Sherwood Motorcars located at 3001 Buckingham Dr #155, Sherwood Park.
Your ticket will give you access to watch this amazing event unfold and include complimentary fantastic finger foods and appetizers. In addition, there will be the opportunity to see the clothing from the runway first hand as the vendors will be present with a selection of their inventory on display
