About this event

A balanced practice, beginning with an energizing flow that seamlessly blends movement and breath to awaken the body. Transition into deep relaxation, embracing grounded poses and meditation to calm the mind and promote profound rest.

Join us for Flow & Restore Yoga in the Park with Montana, a blissful blend of invigorating movement and deep relaxation set amidst the serene backdrop of Bickford Park.

In the first half of the class, we'll dive into the dynamic flow of Vinyasa yoga, working up a gentle sweat as we seamlessly link movement with breath. Through fluid and unique sequences, we'll explore meditative movement to release stress and tension, integrating breath, sun salutations, balance, and strength to invigorate both body and mind.

We'll then transition into a restorative journey, embracing grounded poses and deep listening meditation to calm the nervous system and promote profound rest. With longer holds, restorative postures, and down-regulative breathwork, we'll soften the edges and shift into a place of ease, emphasizing the transition from "do-ing" to "be-ing." The class winds down with soothing postures and sounds of a singing bowl & chakra handpan to facilitate deep rest and stillness.

Join us every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 PM at Bickford Park for an experience that nourishes the body, mind, and soul. Reconnect with yourself and let go of the stresses of the day - let's flow and restore together.

Kind words | Testimonials:

I've been to many park yoga classes with different instructors and now I only keep my eye out for when Montana is teaching next. There is a feeling of peace and centred-ness I feel within my body after a good yoga session. I don't always get that with every instructor, but Montana always delivers :) -ML

I love Montana's classes! They are a perfect balance of calming/grounding, stretching, active portion, and mindfulness. I especially love Montana's approach that offers multiple suggestions for every pose to emphasize personalization and checking in with your own body. A great connection of mind, body and spirit. 110% recommend! ❤ - RM

Montana's classes are a perfect balance of exercise and meditation. All positions are explained clearly and concisely with helpful feedback when needed. I've left every class so far feeling more connected with my body, breath and the world around me. I will definitely be returning for classes as often as possible. - SK
