Free Family Workshop with Paige Jung

Get crafty with your family in this Family Art Sunday workshop led by Start with Art artist Paige Jung!

Notes: This workshop is open to children ages 6+. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please reserve tickets for each person in your group that will be attending this workshop.

Paper Pottery: Illustrate a Patterned Vase
In this illustration workshop inspired by Asian ceramic patterns, students will use acrylic paint, gouache, pencil crayons and pastels. They will also learn about composition, colour theory and some principals of illustration.

About the Instructor
Paige Jung (she/her) is a Chinese-Canadian illustrator, muralist and artist from so-called “Vancouver”, Canada. Paige is known for her proficient use of colour and gestural shapes to create illustrations that tell stories of connection, community power, and what makes us human. She currently works from her studio in Mount Pleasant, surrounded by a growing collection of picture books.
