About this event

Are you a fan of oddball, fun, silly, random karaoke. With Comic Books? Movie references? And sometimes little prizes, and challenging yourself? And silliness? Join us every Friday 9:30pm to 2:30am. Oh. And don't take it too seriously. We just have a good time. Gets swinging about 11:30pm. Come earlier if you want to get songs in.

We're not very fancy and really do this for fun. Just a cozy little dive bar with some of the cheapest drinks around. Like half to a third of the price of drinks downtown Toronto. Make your own fun with your pals.

What's your Karaoke like?

Well, I've loved karaoke since I was a teenager. It was a guilty pleasure and then it just became a pleasure. I don't do it for money. I do it because I really really love to see people, like I did, step up and push themselves in front of a crowd. It takes courage. It took me a looong time to do it

1a. What's offbeat about your Karaoke?

I'm Exile. What I do sometimes is get groups up, give away prizes, throw out the book of singers, challenge people to come up with a song they may not have tried, and...some other stuff. Once in a while there's the other stuff. I do enjoy this and I love it more when you do.

1b. What's offbeat about your Karaoke?

Well I don't compete with other hosts. I do this when I want to as it's not my full time. I imagine a world in which my love of music and movies fro1930s to 2010s. And comics. Things to reflect my personality. Mostly I really love to see people have fun. If you don't? I wanna pack up and go home.
