**This camp is five consecutive days starting August 12 to 16. Join us online daily from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
This camp will be a great fit if your child:
- Loves video games
- Wants to learn more about blockly coding
- Is interested in mastering the basics of sequential programming
Participants develop their own games. Young learners will also control the console of the game and master the skill of event programming. They will be able to change the environment of the game and edit some graphics, and eventually publish the game to the store.
The School of Extended Education at Bow Valley College is proud to collaborate with RoboGarden to offer virtual summer camps for children aged 10-14. Each camp provides hands-on experience and is:
- Game-based, encouraging experimentation and strengthening skills through game elements
- Case-based, helping kids understand coding concepts based on real-world challenges
- Practice-based, with frequent opportunity for kids to apply what they learn and validate their skills.
