Join the Historical African Martial Arts Association for the fourth installment of the Gathering, a one of a kind event that involves African Martial Arts classes , feasting, and our Tournament of Champions!

The weekend begins on August 17th at 8 AM with a full day of classes and seminars, where attendees can learn the various martial traditions of Africa and its diaspora, along with lectures, and an opportunity for open sparring.

At 7 PM we will have our annual feast, where we will celebrate with foods from the continent in a viariety of formal traditional wear and engage in ceremonial sparring.

On the 18th, HAMAA will host its annual Tournament of Champions, where martial artists will have the opportunity to pit their skills against one another in a contest for the title of Champion.
