About Harvest Wednesdays
Harvest Wednesdays was launched by Christina Zeidler in 2006 as an opportunity to connect urbanites with rural producers and begin a dialogue that helped shape the community around Toronto’s artisan food scene. The concept was simple: the Gladstone would buy “shares” in a Community Shared Agriculture, and let each week’s bounty shape the offerings of a harvest table dinner, imagine a local food version of “Chopped”. This direct support of farmer Sherry Patterson of Chick-a-Biddy Acres CSA was the beginning of a beautiful dialogue.www.gladstonehotel.com/harvestwednesdays
