Overview

The HBMBA team is excited to host our first event of the '24 Season Series, a Community Dig Day at Christie Lake. In this hands-on dig day, participants will be introduced to tools of the trade, learn about safety, and have an opportunity to help get our trails ready for the riding season. This dig day will focus on general trail maitenance and clean up and scoping out project sites for upcoming dig days.

Who Can Join Us

No experience is required and all HBMBA members are welcome. Non-members may attend one trail build day but must become a member in order to attend additional build days due to the HBMBA’s insurance and liability policy.

Participants must be 18+. If you have younger family members keen to join us, please reach out to hello@hbmba.ca and we will do our best to accommodate.

Meeting Place

Mountain bike parking lot at Christie Lake Conservation Authority (the west-most parking lot, follow signage).

Accessing Christie Lake Conservation Authority

If you are an HBMBA member attending a dig day at Christie Lake, you may access the park for free on the Dig Day. At the front gate, show staff proof of HBMBA membership and your Dig Day Registration.
