Bio of Facilitator


Yulanda Harris, Ed.D, CNP (she/her) is a Neurodivergent Advocate and Certified Neurodiversity Professional (CNP) through the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) who spent over 30 years in Training & Development and Talent Management, working in the Hospitality, Automotive, Education, Sales & Marketing and Healthcare industries. She received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership & Management and master's in human resource management. She has developed and implemented various diversity training initiatives and a portfolio of leadership and professional development classes and workshops throughout her career. Her training on “Work-Life Balance” received Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the Ohio Nurses Association. In 2017, Dr. Harris became certified as a SkillPath trainer delivering highly interactive learning experiences by incorporating exercises, group activities, and small breakout sessions into every program she facilitated. Today, she consults in areas of change management initiatives, assesses organizational needs, and facilitates professional development and continuous learning processes. Her extensive mentoring and coaching skills allow her to develop and facilitate programs to remove barriers, and foster team management, resulting in organizations becoming immediately resourceful. In 2018, Dr. Harris was officially diagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum, a defining moment as her life would change. As a result, she became a certified neurodiversity professional and currently advocates for “Empowering Others to Embrace Their Differences.” In addition, Dr. Harris provides consulting services to help organizations improve their talent management process by attracting and increasing the tenure of current and future neurodivergent employees.
